i never went any pre season games and have been on my hols for the opening games, so i cant really comment on how we've been playing or tactics but after the clear out and bringing in so many players it would have been a miracle if we'd have hit the ground running. i thought it would take about 10 games before we got to know our best starting line up in competitive games, i'm looking forward to saturday but going by the comments on here and facebook if things arent going well it could get ugly which i can't believe really so early in the season the team needs us to behind them 100% the whole game.

tbh the team had pre-season, a "working" holiday, mid week friendlies, they are professionals there should be something there already...

I'd like to think that we are trying alternative formations like this out in training or even behind closed doors games.

Fear the worse , however think the first goal will be crucial. That is crucial to us as if we can go 1 up we might not lose. If we go 1 down don't think we have the fight or resilience to comeback . Sad to say, make that very sad to say that Crewho do.

Would settle for a point now that is how low my expectations are and that's against a side who finished below mid table last season.

You like that he's locked 6 defenders, with two wingback and 2 fullbacks? But would bring in gunning because we won with him? We wonenwith him at left back. Would you play him there and play 3 fullbacks with your wing backs? You taken one of vfia's more bizarre selections, and said 'hold my beer, watch this...'

 

Wouldn't mind if you could do joined up letters. Bringing Smith out for a rest and we need Gunning at Centre Half. simple enough one change.

Think we will win this one 3-1. Crew have hardly battered anyone this season and have played all there games at home drawing 2 and beating Barnet 1-0! Hardly world beaters.

 

Keep positive, we are ALOT better than we are showing/playing and when it comes together we will all now it.

Just over 500 they've sold so far. They should bring 1k which is abysmal to be fair but they've always been the same.

If I didn't know better, I'd think you and one or two others are just itching for a bad show and loss to Crewe.
