This thread is so entertaining.I used to think OVF had gone boring but there is fantastic drama on this site.

I sat last night with Reading,Hearts,Sunderland and Linfield fans at my table and I showed them this forum and it was the best hours entertainment of the night. Please, please keep up the whingeing and moaning

A trial run for a Burslem festival for people who cannot spare the time to go to Edinburgh, spread the word.

Back Crewe to win this one, easy money.

Right now I'm worried that this is quite likely. Going into a derby game expecting to lose isn't a nice feeling, although at least I can be pleasantly surprised if we get something out of it.

Crewe have picked up the same amount of wins and a couple of draws more over 3 home fixtures 2 of which you'd expect to win.

We've played 2 away and 2 against teams expected to challenge so don't get why everyone expects us to get battered (bookies don't mind).

We are capable of beating Crewe Saturday, another factor is that they haven't played a single away game yet so no one knows how decent they will be away from home, we more than anyone know how different home and away performances can be.

Our overall squad is better than crewes but there goalkeeper is better than ours Ben Garrett been there regular keeper for a few years now and there 2 strikers upfront are better than ours dagnall and porter both could get 20 goals a season whereas ours will be lucky get 10 or in Forresters case a waste of time because he is always injured.

Ok with Worrall signed I would like to see this team:

Hornby

Wilson

Kay

Smith

Denton

Whitfield

Tonge

Worrall

De Freitas

Pope

Pyke

Harness and Montano not done enough to start. ADF gives a more solid option with Whitfield on the other flank. Along with Denton he is the only positive of last 2 games.

Reeves and Turner to drop out-both completely anonymous at chesterfield. Pyke has only had one league start so worth another go.

I never really understood the "flatters to deceive" expression sometimes used on here but having watched adf I think I get it now.
