Nah.

Anyone who defended V2001 following the lies, deceit, and incompetence is already done in my book. No coming back from that.

Totally agree with that one although to be fair most of us did back them for the first 4 or 5 years as mentioned it was when people started to challenge them, things went wrong on the pitch and it was clear the model of a fan owned club wasn't working, that they got defensive and nasty and we saw them for what they really were!

I'd still like to think V2001 went into it with the right morals the problem was none of them had the money or business acumen to take the club anywhere but sideways and eventually backwards. I also think(Bratt mostly) got too cushty in his position and realised he was on to a good thing and wouldn't let go.

I do agree though anyone involved with that regime through the lies, deceit and incompetence should not be welcome at Vale Park in any official capacity, anyone who was still backing them at the end I'd question their sanity at the very least!

We also have to hope that any sale of Hugill or Smith doesn't go to Smurf, lets not forget he is still the owner of the club and can do what he wants, people need to realise this,i am sorry i just really cant trust him

My impression is that Smurf is utterly determined, if not obsessed, with getting his money back. So, though it would be painful in the short-term for any transfer receipts to go to Smurf, it might well get him off our back. With transfer monies pocketed, he might then accept a sensible offer from a decent local company willing to take us on. The problem with all this is of course the timing - we could be waiting a long time for this to happen, if it happens at all.

"One thing I didn't like was the statement: "Under normal circumstances that’s how I would be thinking today wanting to roll my sleeves up, plan and fund our way back to League 1 next season. Sadly, due the environment of the last few months, I do not feel that is now possible."

This, to me, is one last dig at the fans. Not needed."

He is right though. People have been very critical of him and most want him out. Most have got what they want.

No they haven't he still owns the club,he isn't stupid

Just don't believe his statement.

He's not a Vale fan and never has been.

God if he is loyal to the people he employs I can't imagine what he thinks loyalty is. How he treated his manager and his players last summer was disgusting and he even boasted about it.

Don't believe a word he says.

it's not unusual for a vindictive departing senior executive/manager/owner to leave a parting gift of putting a right chump in charge or someone who will act in his (the departee's) interests rather than the interest of the organisation he is leaving behind; to screw them over, to make his time there look good, cos it suits his future planned relationship with his former business etc. Not saying that's what has happened here..just that it's not unusual for it to happen.

Good luck to Mr Fradley; I hope he is a huge success for PVFC cos the alternative is not worth contemplating
