It's clear as daylight that there may not even be a retained list because Brown said and I quote ''I have got to speak to the players and see who want to stay and who will be leaving''. That tells me that if a good number want out the rest will remain. It's very simple players will stay if they get offered enough money.

I assume some players have said they are going, others will not be offered contracts i.e. released, others will be offered contracts some will accept some will not, also some on contract may negotiate a release. Cant see this being completed this week. Just a list of who we would like to keep.

They're probably not lying , but they don't seem to have a clear plan. Right so, back to NS to await further instructions. That's the way it is , and that's how the season will pan out. We are in serious trouble with this lot .

Right now I think 'competitive' means anywhere above 23rd.
