Some people on here need to take a long look at themselves. Unpleasant and a total lack of class (just like the chairman). Our (current) longest serving player re-signs and people come out with nasty claptrap like 'waste of money'. They'll say the same if Birchall signs a new contract. It's just acting like thick over-privileged premiership team supporting tossbags with no understanding of football, squads or decency.

7.20 x 35 = 252 before stoppages, if you where offered 500 per wk to sit on a bench would you take it for a years contract, where would he find a job paying that sort of wage. (the 500 is just a figure he may be on more or less ) I don't know.

Get of Adam Yates back he has been a good servant to our club,and always puts 100% into any game when called upon,give him a break

 

I agree,people really wind me up over Yates,yes we all know he is not the best now and we all know he wont be a regular BUT for the money he gets paid i think he is good experienced back up for both Right back and left back positions.
