Last season was an apocalypse from start to finish. Time to park that firmly in the past though and give everyone, including the owners, a clean slate. We've just made a cracking first signing of the summer on paper (nothing is ever guaranteed) which shows ambition, so it's mentally healthier to concentrate on the new now rather than the old.

No we signed a player who is direct and aggressive plays on the left but can operate anywhere across the front 3 and we signed him because he creates and scores goals.

Curtis can be a bit of a ' lad ' at times with a streak in him. Exactly what we need instead of " the nice boy from next door " types we've had .

Curtis is simply a good signing with proven league 1 experience alongside recently in league 2. The stats are good, his experience is proven and overall aside from a bad injury that led him to leave Pompey, he seems a good bet. 
 

Three year deal mind…he had better be successful. A three year flop on his money would be painful..

No way can we go Smith and Debrah again even though we've dropped a division. 

If we add a goalscoring striker (finally need to invest in a decent one) and sort the full back/wing back and get a big uncompromising centre half come August we will be a great position assuming we keep the midfield trio.

I know these YouTube reels showcase the good stuff but refreshing to see that Curtis uses both feet. Something really uncommon in a lot of footballers.

That's one of my biggest bug bares when I hear commentators say 'it was on his weaker foot' yet said footballer is in the prem/championship and probably being paid more in a week than I earn in a year!!!😡

I learnt to play with both feet at school, (Admittedly I was never going to be a pro footballer but I was equally as bad with both feet!😂)

Totally agree Darren. I dont want my daughter to marry them just give the opponents hell.

I just wanted to jump in at this point.

1. This is my site. I actually maintain the right to remove anyone for anything. I don't have to give any reason. However, out of politeness I do have some rules/guidelines which I ask people to abide to.

3. I have also seem comments about "why wasn't userxyz banned" - again, this is a private site. We do not and will not explain our moderation decisions. This is a) because we haven't the time to explain everything we do and b) I don't think it's necessary. However, I believe all decisions are fair and honest ones. 

I have just briefed the moderation team on how we ban people to refresh their memory.

So, I would remind people that we can (and will) ban people who misbehave on here including users who wind up others. 

The simple way to avoid this is to remember what this forum is - a place to discuss a football team - not a place to engage in winding up and arguing with other people. If you want to do that, you can do it away from my website. There is a phrase we used to use on here a lot - "attack the argument, not the person" - people would do well to remember that
