I think Devine also put the cross over to Garrity for the penalty.  Some sympathy for Plant as he was hanging out at the end. Not often a team is joint top on minus 3 goal difference! That was a big win. A quarter of the way to safety after 6 games. Unbeaten in 7!

What a game, great performance by Vale, master class by Crosby in tactics and timing of substitutions.

What a ball in by Devine, fabulous header by the Yak and brill penalty from Devine, what a guy to stand up and take that.

Oxford were the architects of their own downfall, too much tippy tappy and not enough players up front to finish anything off.

Looking good for Vale at the moment.

It is, but also allows the Vale players to recover from knocks they have picked up.  Also Willow to recover from his ankle injury/knock he picked up today.
