Heading down tomorrow with the family gonna cost me about £250 all in. The result doesn’t matter as long as the vale players turn up and put a shift in, anything less that’s my first and last game until AC and GF are gone !!!!! You listening CS. Stuffed coming to the game tomorrow. Ironically the 19.05 Cross Country train from Stoke to Reading has been cancelled. Lots of Reading fans may be stuffed as well as me going to Guildford via Reading.

He's never been about pace. At 6 foot 4 he's about presence plus skill in the air and on the deck. Setting aside other things, where PV may do better, Carroll will bury Smith if he's the dude trying to do that marking role. Smith is deficient in both size and skill as a defender. 

I don't mean to be offensive to Smith but he is coming up from L2 trying to make it in L1 and Carroll has played at much higher levels his whole career. At one point England thought he was 'the solution' before Kane came long. 

The defence once again doesn't seem to be set up to deal with big and skillful strikers. We've all pointed to this problem and we need a centre half who can handle Carroll et al.

I love your positivity. As above I'm worried about Carroll. If they have good crosses we are in trouble. We looked in trouble v Fleetwood and Carroll is a higher level striker than they've got.

Back to the railway stand tomorrow. Hope I'm not the only who gets in at 5 to 3 and looks across at the Hamil end and thinks "well they've brought more than I expected".

He's a 'higher level' striker, whichever way you look at it!

Quick question on tickets. I got my ticket online the other day and it kept saying it needed to take a photo. I was using my mobile and it wouldn’t allow the website to open up my camera. So I selected the option to do it when collecting my ticket. 
 

they’ve emailed my ticket though, so I assume I just use my ticket in the normal manner and I don’t need to go to the ticket office for a photo to be taken. I’ve not taken out the membership card. 
 

Has anyone else faced this issue or have I missed an update from the club about an IT issue?

If Carroll plays, and they put balls into the box we're already starting the game 2-0 down. First 2 games have shown we can't do the basics right regarding defending crosses/set pieces, which at this level is ridiculous really, especially when our system consists of 3 centre backs.

All that said, I think we'll win this 🤣
