After the Barnsley horror show, I didn't go last night. But I can't wait for the first league home game on Saturday.

However, I think the days of 1-1, 1-0 etc  and other low scoring results are a thing of the past.

At the moment it's clear that we're much better on the attack than defending, so you might as well set up your team to go for it and try to out-score the opposition as we did last night. We'll only get better from that aspect as players get more used to each other. Hopefully Lowe can make a bit of a difference to the back line with his experience once he's available. I'd like to see -

This will be a tough game.  Just hope we go back to man marking and not zonal marking.  Zonal seems to be a cluster f..k as the players don't seem to know what to do and close down.

I can't see us winning many games with the way we are currently defending. We have basically got score 3 or 4 goals to win a match. I don't think this current back 3 is working, hopefully balmer or lowe will be back fit as Cass is garbage at centre back. I'd keep lacavitti in ahead of Jones aswell due to how bad Jones was against Barnsley.

Just watched the Millwall/Reading highlights.

Reading looked really quick on the break and their no.15 is a real handful - they could have had six if they'd taken all their chances.

It will be interesting to see how AC sets us up for this because their attacking play looked really dangerous.

Hoping Balmer and Lowe are back to give us more height and power at the back. I think we have the makings of a decent midfield and attack but we do need more cover up front for injuries and for competition. Hopeful for a narrow win.

Well I've just watched Millwall vs reading cup game, and I've got to say Millwall's defending was as  comical as vales against Barnsley

Our defending of corners makes me shudder that they will have Andy Carroll to bring on.
