Reading (H) match thread Sat Aug 12th

Just booked my first game of the season.

Will be up nice early and run up from Somerset; hopefully the weather gods will be kind.  Can't wait.

Hoping this will be the first of at least 12 games I get to this year.  Maybe we'll have one (or more!) of the additional resources AC mentioned to Phil Bowers last night be then.

Got our tickets for that game yesterday, the wife and myself have to pick and choose the games we go to, and we only live 10 minutes walk from the ground!

FYI... that's useful as I was about to make one but... I'm making this into the match thread for Reading. 

I'm also just going to rename it so it fits the naming convention of the other match threads.

I booked my ticket in the Hamil yesterday,and I'll be making my way from Aberystwyth next Friday,can't wait to see the New players perform on the new pitch .... bulls head for a few before the match ... happy days 😁

Got my future son in law coming up from Reading for the game. 

It will be his first of many Vale games and a life of love for the Vale.

He cant wait to be in the Hamil end next week.

Reading had sold 700 plus last week and with our membership plus offer, it should be a good crowd.

I have 10 coming from Reading, worked down there in 1989- so will be fun.

Was really looking forwards to going in hamil aswell and there being a great amount in there for opener now be lucky if half full .
