Presumably the fact that there's no apology or mention of a refund!

Do you demand that from the Odeon every time you go to watch a movie that you don't enjoy?

Not at all.

And I didn't go, I was just answering the question of what some might have thought was wrong with that email.

Not really the same though is it? 7-0.

Course it is. No difference whatsoever. And I watched Demolition Man at the pictures

No, it isn't. It's more like going in and finding David Flitcroft has vomited all over your seat.

Usually you'd get offered a refund, something back or at least an apology but bar a tweet from Connor Ripley nothing at all.. (didn't fans who went to AFC Wimbledon get a free ticket after a 4-0 loss (for another 4-0 loss at Huddersfield!)

Not after a refund or freebie but an apology would be respectful, fans paid good money to go and what was served up was far from befitting of this football club, it wasn't just a standard defeat or a bad day at the office it was total humiliation, kind of thing you'd expect from San Marino against a big power International side.

Because they are really relatable.
How is it different, at its basic point? You chose to go and watch something, paid, and it wasn't what you were expecting nor liked. If we'd have won 7.0, would you have been happy with the club invoicing you an extra match fee for the entertainment that was provided, given that it exceeded expectations?

I’ve had no email, nor do I expect one.  As far as I’m concerned the players came over and clapped the fans as we booed, clapped, swore, vented and gestured in equal measure then Crosby gave an interview straight after the match. That’s all I expect.  No idea why the club see fit to send out an email, other than it must be this new found desire to keep fans informed.  The club needn’t bother in future, as we can see some fans will still moan, unless they can dictate the actual wording of the email to suit themselves.  You couldn’t make it up.

I got Demolition Man out on VHS from the paper shop. Decent I thought.

Sandra Bullock was good in it. Nigel Hawthorne lent the whole thing a bit of class.

Well the maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic wasn't what we hoped for, but we at the White Star Line appreciate your support and hope to see you at the launch of our next fantastic vessel (assuming you didn't drown in the Atlantic).

How dare people complain about widows receiving such a letter!

Lets just hope the next one isn't the RMS Britannic then!

So first match thread of the season .
Who's he going select .
Who would you select .
What formation will Crosby play .
1500 plus tickets sold which is fantastic which is a quarter of our home support .
Barnsley were a very good side last year but have had problems since play off defeat and have lost there most influential defender Anderson .
We have everything to gain and nothing lose .
I'd personally pick a attacking line up .
I've got a feeling Ojo will score a howitzer for us but we will switch off and concede a poor equaliser so I'll go 1-1 opening day draw .
Team well I've decided this season to not put my team has it offends folk and to be honest life's too short for arguing on a football website with folk i do not know .
So a new me this season.

Well that lasted .Normal service resumed😂😂
