I for one didn't want it off just because Accrington are 5 unbeaten.

The League table doesn't lie. We would rightly of been favourites to win this game.

I wanted my Saturday fix and aren't glad it's off just because it's not the ' right ' time to play them.

I fancied us tomorrow, Accrington have been on overall good form but that includes 3 or 4 ties in the cup, their league form over the last 6 games is bottom 3.

Shame its off and puts pressure on the Morecambe game with Wednesday away to follow to get a win.

Not sure if this is in reply to what I posted, but I agree, I wanted the game to go ahead, I wasn't saying we've dodged a bullet, I was just disputing their form compared to ours and regardless of who they have played, winning form can build momentum and is not to be underestimated.

We've won our last 3 home games and won at the leaders recently, prefer our form to theirs.

My friend who is a walker asked me if he would be OK walking in the Wirral this week. Answer no way. There is lethal ice everywhere after snowfall. So he went to Stoke instead and had no problems. I guess we don't have long to wait, but surely this game can go ahead!? I'll be unimpressed if it doesn't.

It’s been -6 at night all week !?

The sun came up. The sun went down. The snowman at the house opposite still has all his features and limbs. So the Tranmere game is postponed on the Wirral. I do get it now. I was mistaken about my friend. My friend didn't walk on the Wirral and he did go to Stoke. But it was to take his relative to a hospital appointment! Whoops cock up on my part.

So the next Saturday home match is February. Other than for  Covid, have we ever had such a long break? What 10 weeks +?

Dec 22 1962 until Mar 2 1963 no league games at all. Home games Dec 15 gap until Mar 9. That was a Winter.

Just shows you , and I recall the winter too
