Both teams coming off good wins, it won’t be as easy a game as some predict. I’d be over the moon with a 1-0 win. UTV!

Looking at the stats they have allowed Bolton 67% possession but kept them down to 10 shots and 2 on target. They've had 6 shots, 4 on target and scored from 1. So they look like they can be effective and we need to play good stuff.

A different challenge on Saturday in a game where all the pressure will be on is to win, which certainly wasn't the case against Derby. We did well against Rovers last season which should stand us in good stead. They are below us, but just beat Bolton, so it will be another close one I think. Fully expect 3 points though if we're on it.

Fans shouldn't go into this or any game in L1 expecting to win ; the atmosphere suffers and breeds a tendency for some fans to get on the players back when they wouldn't do against the bigger teams.

Looking forward to this, but FGR are no mugs.

Would like to see us playing an attacking, pressing game and show them no mercy.  We need to be trying to score and choke them out of the game from minute1.

No change to the squad, if we can go in at half time in front then bring on some killer subs in the second half that would be great.

Quite honestly I don't care how many we win by; 1-0 would be fine. I'd love us to keep a clean sheet and win 3-0, though.  That would be superb.

UTV and KTF

This must not be a case of ... after the Lord mayor's parade.

Do exactly what we did last season against them ... a high press.

Wasn't it also a Covlan fruitcake moment that stopped us from beating them.

If I recall correctly we played them off the park and they scored a 5 yard tap in with a few minutes left .

Can't blame Lucas it was Holy in goal.

They've only won one game away from home and tend to leak a few on their travels--0-0 written all over it!!😁

It would be a waste beating Derby to not follow it up here but football is a funny old game and regardless FGR like us are here on merit so pose another big test.

Despite winning the league they probably came up in the worst shape of the four of us, they were mid table League two form the last few months of last season and then were raided for their manager and best players... add in the loss of Matty Stephens their talisman to an ACL and its been a rough time for them heading into their first L1 season.

We have a good record against them, great win at their place last season and decent home performance with an injury hit squad and our system always seemed to cause them problems but they've changed manager and will be a different game I expect. They've haemorrhaged goals so we need to be more efficient than we have against say Cheltenham to avoid a bite in the backside.

Win this and we will be well set to attack the last 10 games of the first round of fixtures to surpass the magical 25 point mark to keep on track for safety (our initial goal) and leave us less to do in the second half of the season.

You're not wrong. But if we're at it as a team I think we're more than capable of getting the three points. We should go into the game full of confidence after the weekend, so I'll be confident.
