It wasn’t acceptable because of the score or even the result. It was the performance that was the biggest issue. Too many slow; unfit players who couldn’t hack playing in a bit of heat.

You just know Proctor is waiting to have a few months off. The injuries are farcical at this club. Love DC, the infrastructure, the progress, the direction, but the injuries are ridiculous and in a poor league we still had enough to get over the line. We will get found out playing with returning players, crocks and fill ins this season - so let’s not.

Definitely a bump back down to earth after a lovely start last week. Not enough oatcakes for breakfast I reckon. Exeter were well drilled, chased everything and got some lucky decisions. We do need a striker though!

It’s a worrying result especially considering we comfortably dispatched that side a few weeks ago! Three kids playing with one start between them isn’t ideal and the injuries seem to be ridiculous again. In a poor league we got through but won’t get away with that at this level.

Need strikers soon, at least one anyway but after a 4-0 defeat strikers aren’t really where the focus should be on looking at it. Defensively that’s awful.

Bitterly disappointed with the performance. Never looked like we would get anything.

Lots to be done in the transfer window. Last season was a rollercoaster, and I don’t expect this one to be any different. UTV.KTF
