I’m struggling to believe that a fan friendly club like ours would end the reduced price season ticket, then announce that they aren’t doing the ten game ticket for next season

Good timing.

We should do a lard and announce 6000 plus every game not just folk who attend.
We'd have a belting average attendance.
It's not just the prize bullies, most clubs do that and announce total number of tickets sold.

I don't understand why we don't really, the higher the better in terms of image/profile of the club etc.

Don’t know if that includes the corporates but regardless that is a brilliant number. If Carol and Kevin didn’t know already this speaks volumes to the great work they’ve done since taking over.

They announced 5600 at the end of early bird without corporate so it’s got be just season tickets

We averaged 6100 odd last season with bumper crowds for Bristol and Newport

6000 season tickets is fantastic. Derby,Sheff W, Pompey,Ipswich, Barnsley,Bolton will all being a few.

If we can average 7000 plus,it's another 1000 for 23 games. Average it out at £15 (mix of adults/kids) that's another 300K in the kitty plus whatever is spent extra on match day.

Minus extra police and steward costs, which after the shenanigans against Swindon will be much higher

Was there ever an offering of tickets for the new hospitality suite? I was interested in purchasing but never saw an official channel for doing so!

Nothing at all. Apparently you have to be a member of the Prawn sandwich and Pimms clique.

I think there will be some available! However there is a lot of rejiggering going on as many of the seats now   come with a hospitality package now! Which doubles the cost  which is fine if you want a three course meal before every game if you go on your own then not so good. I have lost my seat which I have had for a number of years , but have had first dibs on an area with no meal included. So I have had to take that. You are looking at around 1100 for a seat with dinner included.

I still think we'll be ahead financially. The fact that the photos published were 10 Vale/5 Swindle shows that they were partly to blame

I spoke with Sue Potts today to book match day hospitality for a family celebration and she said they’re still working through a lot of the changes..  Match day hospitality prices have increased by a tenner on those currently quoted on the club website =  3 course meal in the Valiant Suite then seats in the Presidents (?) box + other ‘extras’- seats are on the halfway line which I guess might have where you used to sit?

Anyways I asked about match day availability for the Robbie Williams suite and other areas too and she said they were for season-long packages only at the moment and were almost fully taken so not sure how many that will add to the ‘normal’ season ticket numbers.

I am fully supportive of what the club are doing. I feel It was crazy that the 'best seats in the stadium' were not linked to a hospitality package to generate maximum income for the club.

I think Carol said hospitality is now around 1,000 seat capacity (which I assume also includes the Boxes, RW suite and the former VP seats)

What it says to me is how progressive a club we have become and I am looking forward to the older Bycars and Railway getting some serious upgrading in the not too distant future.
