Proper gut punch that.

Two issues though when Gibbo went off; firstly why keep the 3 at the back? Surely no point when all but one player who can feasibly play wing back is injured, (not sure why Mills isn't in the squad today in case Gibbo broke down again?), surely better to go back four and bring on an extra body in MF. Secondly having Legge as anything other than the man in the middle of the 3 is asking for trouble - Brisley is a bit more mobile, likely to have been closer to Smith, and is marginally better running back towards his own byline, plus Legge would have attacked the cross better and more likely to have stopped it getting to Henderson.

Not sure where we go from here for the rest of the game.

Reminds me of Sinnott so far, he could talk a good game but the worst manager I’ve seen at the Vale.

Sickner of a goal again, looks like we committed too many players forward again, Henderson allowed a free run into the box and was unchallenged when he buried it.

Why do Vale hardly ever get on the end of a 2nd ball in and around their box.
