Superb result and we gave them a game by all accounts. Cant criticise the manager or the players today. Lets hope this lifts the team for the games to come.

As welcome as it was unexpected. I just wish they'd get some consistency.

Thing is we know this is a cracking result for Vale and totally not expected.

 

The players tried and well done to them. Full credit to you guys. Hands up only saw this being a loss and by double figures as well.

 

However, the next game we will be back to the last 4 matches. Boring and lacking tactics to win the game. Pope by himself and getting battered. Aspin will go back to being defensive minded and I cant see Aspin being able to sort it out.

Well, well, well...we looked like a team scrapping for their lives. Absolute screamer from Manny having had the sighter earlier that nearly broke the bar. Thought having proper fullbacks made a huge difference and, tin hat on, Joyce added a lot in midfield. Is it a case of onwards and upwards or will not maintain this moving forward. If we'd played like that over any of the games at Xmas we'd have been 5/6 points better off! Oh well feels like a win to shut those arrogant barstewards up....loved the unbelieving silence when Manny's shot flew in!

Good performance by Vale, draw a very justified result and well deserved. Fantastic goal by Manny, Vale had two off the line and one off the bar. Conceded a bad goal, can't remember another decent Lincoln chance.

 

Lincoln are an arrogant bunch of sh*ts, hope they fall on their faces.

Nothing has changed for me. Aspin isn't the man for the job in the long term and we still need a change.

We were the better side overall, but that's not saying much.

 

In the end there can't be any complaints about the result even if it took a worldie to do it as we had a warning a couple of minutes before.

 

Attempting to sit on a lead is frustrating as it invited a team that didn't look dangerous forward.

 

Considering the relative positions of the sides, and how much we actually produced in that game Port Vale earned their point.

 

They also make the interesting point that we have the best defensive record (goals conceded) after them and mansfield. Pity we can't score more goals.

A measure of pride restored today! According to the BBC stats we had more shots on goal than Lincoln and Manny hit the bar just before we equalised. 1-2 was so close, but we've had to settle for the 1 point and unfortunately a place lower in the league table!

Away form defo better wonder how much all the negativity and silence at home effects the players Aspin just attack at home and u may be ok
