It is sad that there doesn't seem to be any consdideration of the paying customer. Imagine if Walkers suddenly decided to stop selling Cheese and Onion crisps and told everyone to just buy Salt and Vinegar instead.

Probably would not, but maybe their owners Pepsi could.

Well Trump never realises when he has made a mistake. No lover of Smurthwaite but at least he has reacted positively on this occasion. I don’t think anyone on here has ever made a mistake though.

Although it doesn't affect me personally, as I'm a season ticket holder, I applaud the club for listening to the fan base and correcting what really was an ill thought out initial offer. Now it's down to those fans who had negative comments on this to go and buy the bundle. :asposarmy:

Bit of free publicity by restricting the offer. Gets fans talking about it, discussing it on forums, polls and then finally good publicity when the offer is extended back to normal.

Good free marketing strategy in my opinion. Hope it sells some now and gets more people in next season. A reasonable start is important if we're to have a good season and a decent atmosphere helps everyone.

Its as if the past 2 seasons never happened, and people still think Smurf is capable of marketing genius.

 

This was a balls up, a scrambled attempt to fill out the Bycars. It backfired, and the club have backtracked. Fair enough.

 

But please lets not sit here 'thanking' Smurf for the altruistic greatness of allowing us to sit in the Railway or Lorne Street whilst watching the Vale, or that this was somehow some concocted scheme to generate buzz.
