Bit of free publicity by restricting the offer. Gets fans talking about it, discussing it on forums, polls and then finally good publicity when the offer is extended back to normal.

Good free marketing strategy in my opinion. Hope it sells some now and gets more people in next season. A reasonable start is important if we're to have a good season and a decent atmosphere helps everyone.

Looks like Smurthwaite, or someone else, made a mistake, which has now been rectified. Well done the club for correcting this silly mistake, but let's not pretend that this was on purpose.

I don't know much about marketing. I'm not NSs biggest fan. I'm an optimistic bloke who was trying to look on the bright side of things.

I hope we sell lots of ten game season tickets to help generate more atmosphere for everyone at VP, players and fans alike. It's July and I'm quietly optimistic about the upcoming season. Hopefully that optimism will still be present come October/November time!

That is a bold statement. Are you saying that anyone who planned to buy a ten game ticket before knowing that they would initially only be available in the Bycars and has now spent the money on something else is mad?

If you can find me the hundreds if not thousands of people that have done that, I'll apologise to them if my post caused them any offence

Whoever composed that rallying ditty needs congratulating. It's fabulous to see at long last a heartfelt message from behind the scenes. Us Valiants have shown our passion week in, week out so for "someone" to attempt to stimulate us is both unusual and frankly welcoming. May it continue please.

It's still £20-£30 too expensive. I'd rather find an extra £2 approx. once a month than £180 in a lump sum.

I guess it comes down to personal circumstances, but for mine the prices look reasonable.

 

£180 Adults (22-61)

£140 Young Adults (18-21) and Seniors (62+)

£75 Juniors (13-17)
