Why a gamble? One year contract. Player of the year at one of the top clubs in the league below us, this sounds like good business not a gamble.

Outstanding in the conference. Flopped poorly at league level, notably with Exeter.

 

Could be good...could be awful.

Tbf he has more pedigree than Hannant(when we signed him) and he doesn't look too bad. Made the step up OK so far.

 

I'd much rather us sign lads like this at times as they will want to make the best of their chance(or 2nd chance in Manny's case) at League football, than having too many washed up pros on the books who are here for one last contract before falling into non-league or going into coaching/whatever they do when they finish playing.

 

I appreciate you need a good blend of experience and youth/chancers but Aspin appears to be bringing this in!:yes:

It's a gamble again, will he be starter? At his age id hope so but risky so all we can do is keep fingers crossed that after these chancers we sign another couple of proven players come in, best of luck to the lad though we are not sure what expect but hope he takes his chance.
