I did and still do against some of the more ridiculous accusations. I've always felt he was a goon and haven't wanted him as owner for a while but don't believe he has some masterplan to sell the ground for housing and didn't subscribe to the idea that anyone but Smurf was the way forward. Rapidly changing my mind on that latter point though.

Neil Aspin is either going to be the next manager or he isn't. Smurthwaite has said he isn't. We have to take what he says at face value. Blakeman still thinks he might end up being the manager somehow.
