Yes he's been injured but was out on the pitch yesterday doing some running before the game so you could probably expect him in the squad for Saturday. And come on and Marshall set him up for the winner

I'll disagree there. Guy was poor when he came on yesterday, chasing the ball around like a Yorkshire terrier might a tennis ball. He really ought to have done better with that last gasp chance. His form has dipped really quite alarmingly since the Bury game when I thought he did well.

Hope Pugh can fit in there (no idea if he can) but he's got experience so that may be useful. Tavares and amaros protecting the back 4. Forrester up top as hooper has been pretty woeful and cicilia not fit. Certainly wouldn't pick guy, one good match 1st game and been poor since. Shodipo has to play, QPR fans were disappointed when he left and said he's good enough for them! Yet we won't start him. Simple for me keep it tight in the middle and protect that back 4 with Tavares and amaros and use pace and width in Thomas and shodipo to supply forrester and have foley backing it up. Worked earlier in the season can work again. Boring yes but we need points now.

With the sale of our best players and the failure to keep our top scorer , add to that the gaping hole in the middle of defence with streete out injured , smith playing at 75% and Knopps suspended I can only see a comfortable away win. Vale 0 Bantams 3

I think we need to try and settle on a team and stick with it, we need to get players used to playing together. I'm not sure all the chopping and hcnaging is helping. So unless we manage to get in another centre half in the week I'd put Gibbons in and move Purkiss and go with near enough the same starting 11 as Saturday. As some have said on other threads, its not ideal putting a youngster in there, but we've left ourselves so light on numbers that we may have to. Also I thought Pugh was that good in midfield that we may miss him in there if we move him back to centre half.

lol sorry i like to be happy just the thought of bringing someone elses wife to the match well if the footballs dull the convo with her wouldnt be .

Seriously though booked sat night off work and having it as unpaid .

Id go anyway but im really bang up for this game and its only tues .

I need to give it my all in my encouragement for the lads in black and white and it takes me hrs wind down after a game so booking the night off is sensible .

Its a must win game .

Ok we have injuries galore but im feeling optimistic Pugh is better than Grant Fasan is no less of a goalie than Alnwick ,Reggie is going score two a game when he returns .

So many midfielders, not anywhere enough of any other position. Forrester had a good run before injury of leading the line alone under Bruno and then adding a fresh JJ after 60 minutes if we need a goal (we might need 3).

 

Amaros back in the side to do the running that Pugh can't do. Foley to support the striker, other lads on the wings and cutting in.

We need a centre back desperatly. Should have gone for Harry Davis when he became availible on loan.

Maybe we'll play 3 at the back, 3-4-3 or a 3-5-2. I personally wouldn't want Tanser anywhere near the starting 11 based on what I've seen.
