If we are going to sign a non club player we need to do it by 5pm today so they have three days to get ready and train with the squad not leave it till 5pm Friday then say he's not fit to start Saturday and will be on the bench and may come on at some point.

Realistically if you haven,t got a club now and are keeping yourself fit you are still not up to League one level just like that. It is where we are, sheer desperation stakes.

We wont sign anyone. This is Vale. Smurf and management will just plod along burying their heads in the soil saying it will be alright soon. They will release a statement saying we tried and no one came, they wanted to play non-league footy.

 

Please prove me wrong and sign a credible player(s) who help us out of this relegation battle we are in.

I am going for a scrappy Forrester goal. Not predicting the result though.

Danny Pugh, easily man of the match the last game and you would drop him? Ryan Taylor at centre half? He left weeks ago. Next you'll be telling us this squad is better than last seasons

Ryan Taylor was average at best in his ' proper ' position. He has left the club but now chosen as a centre half, as PV1973 said dropped Pugh too who was MOM arguably v Gas.

Fasan - Will do for now. Perkiss - not up to it now. Smith - Thank God that we have him. Taylor - Wasn't good enough when he was with us. Kiko - we could do with a better defender. Eagles - Good dribbler with no end product and too slow. Foley - good enough for the team. Guy - Immature and not living up to the potential shown in his first game. Thomas - An asset until his legs give up. Forrester - Good poacher if his assists were good and if he doesn't get injured or tired. Hooper - A good tryer, but no way will he ever have the scoring ability of Lee Hughes.

Hence the current league position.

Only an owner with a sufficient funds and a willingness to use it to take the club where it should be - The Championship league will make the necessary improvements.
