Matchday Thread: Port Vale v Milton Keynes

Surely this is a tactical postponement to give our many injured players more recovery time, get fitness in to the players and possibly more new faces. i thought we had frost/snow covers that operated down to minus 3. In fact we do - they are all around the pitch! not sure how long it takes from MK, but couldn't the inspection have taken place at 10.30 or 11.00 - that's still 4 hours. I wonder how many folk were unable to get to work in Burslem yesterday or today?

Correct me if i'm wrong but I belive we don't get to decide what time the inspection is?

What's wrong with walking, when I was at school I had to walk sometimes in 3ft of snow, then walk back home for dinner then back again. Why does every pupil have to be dropped off out side the school gates? Kids don't know they're born these days.

Conrad, if it was a school day I could understand the game being called off, with all them women in their over powered 4x4's uncontrollably taking their little kiddies to school it would be mayhem. As it's a Saturday when they're just taking them to Festival Park, it'll be a breeze and no myther whatsoever, there isn't even a Next in Burslem:smile:

Pupils are dropped off at school for safety reasons because there are too many cars about, vicious circle? Not a problem in my day, very few people with cars.
