Matchday Thread: Port Vale v Milton Keynes

Pupils are dropped off at school for safety reasons because there are too many cars about, vicious circle? Not a problem in my day, very few people with cars.

Since when were cars allowed to drive on the pavements?and what's happened to the green cross code? And then we get the lollipop person standing by zebra or pelican crossings, and with the latter, pressing the button willy nilly thus causing unnecessary tailbacks instead of allowing the traffic to flow in a more controlled and sensible manner.

A layer of snow can act as an insulator against frost getting into the ground. Usually they would leave the snow on until as late as possible in the old days.

I can only imagine the frost must be pretty deep for the game to be called off at 9am without giving the affected areas any chance to thaw out.

What's wrong with walking, when I was at school I had to walk sometimes in 3ft of snow, then walk back home for dinner then back again. Why does every pupil have to be dropped off out side the school gates? Kids don't know they're born these days.

Of course they are not allowed, the traffic around our local school has improved since the council withdrew funding for the lollipop.

Like many posters have said previously the weathers come at a perfect time for the club to use the weather as an excuse! The fact that Browny wanted to get another weeks fitness into the squad, give Remie and Jak another week to recover and give big Norm time to get some more heads in is the reasons we're sat at home twiddling our thumbs! Grrrrrrrr

After hearing about the behaviour of some fans in the concourse at Huddersfield and reading some of today's pathetic comments on Twitter, I'm becoming ashamed to be a Vale supporter. We certainly attract a good percentage of idiots.

The majority are just attention seeking immature teenagers tbf but I agree they are annoying and lead very tragic little lives. Never understood people that hand gesture at opposing fans either, is that supposed to be offensive or hurt someone's feelings cause it's just plain embarrassing. All fans do it but its just so lame!
