Not single handedly.

The owners have played a huge part with their dawdling. A huge part.

I really really hope the strap line for the last game of the season isn’t “if only the owners had acted even a couple of games earlier”.

The cherry on the cake (if you can be @r5ed) is reading some of the comments on the Blackpool's fans forum. It's a thing of beauty. Some of 'em are worse than us!

Big spell coming up now as a lot of winnable games, Barnsley H, Mansfield A, Exeter H, Wimbledon H, Orient A in Jan, if we can rattle up 3-4 wins from that lot we might have a chance.

Every game is winnable. It’s the worst league one in living memory.
Just not by playing 3 at the back.

I genuinely think a decent manager playing 4 at the back with maybe a new cb and centre mid and one forward and we would be ok

2026:

Unbeaten, scored 5 for every 1 conceded and 3x as many points as Cardiff.

Not wishing to sound defeatist but I’d happily play 4-4-2, players in their right positions and give it a red hot go. If we lose and go down so be it but at least we die with our boots on. And personally, I think we would stay up.

Agreed, we are in <ovf censored> or bust territory. How's about we take the game to the opposition with a few attacking players and sub on defenders if we get a lead. Seems to work for a number of other clubs. Furthermore the fans go away happy that the team had a go.

I used to hear it was a “weak” league every time we get relegated from it!

Reading Ian Evans comments, obviously not happy with the sending off but says 2nd is a foul and 3rd is handball.

Rewatched them I don't think Cole is a foul although it's the kind of <ovf censored> one which is usually given and Headleys goal looks like it comes off his defenders arm in the box. I always look at the players reactions and not one players appealed for handball, says its all. Sour grapes on that one I think.

I'll bask in the glory of a win,and a 4 goal improvement to the GD

I'll look no further ahead than the next league game. Pointless looking at winnable games etc,as we have a winning run of 1!

Smith has the Barnsley game, then the two cup games. It gives our dithering owner the chance to appoint a new manager...Moore went on the 28th December-next league game is January 17th. It wouldn't surprise me if this board give Smith the job till the end of the season(tongue in cheek!)

Wimbledon, Mansfield, Lincoln, Stevenage and Bradford are in the top half.
We finished above Bradford last season. We’ve beaten Mansfield. Should beaten Stevenage who are tinpot. Drew away at Wimbledon and finished above them last season and lost to an awful Lincoln side.
Cardiff are top with a bunch of kids who couldn’t beat us.

It’s an utterly garbage league full of average teams. And it’s very damning that under Moore we were the worst of the lot.

Sour grapes, these things happen in most games, we had a good goal disallowed v Cardiff which would have meant a win for us.
