Was a red all day long but do think we’d have beaten them 11v11 had we made the same changes.

You could tell by Husband's initial reaction that he knew that it was a red.  After that he started to argue and refused to leave the pitch.

Reading Ian Evans comments, obviously not happy with the sending off but says 2nd is a foul and 3rd is handball.

Rewatched them I don't think Cole is a foul although it's the kind of <ovf censored> one which is usually given and Headleys goal looks like it comes off his defenders arm in the box. I always look at the players reactions and not one players appealed for handball, says its all. Sour grapes on that one I think.

Second goal is so reminiscent of the goal we conceded against Stockport..  You know, the one that gives Debrah nightmares. That wasn't a foul either.

3rd goal Vale fans shouting penalty as their player clearly handles it before Headley does.

Evatt a knob.

Yes, it was handball, but as you say it was the defender who handled it.  I'm glad that the ref played on.

Phil Bowers after goal two : "Blackpool are all at sea" 😂.  Fabulous finish by Curtis!

With Headley's goal, it did hit his arm, but only after deflecting on to him from the arm of their defender. Both completely accidental.

I still think it was a very harsh red. But the ref doesn't have the benefit of seeing replays or slow motion. Every team is on the end of those decisions throughout a season.

We are notorious for being absolutely crap against 10 men, even in the league below. We created more chances in the second half against 10 today than we have against 10 men over the last 10 or 15 years. Blackpool only have themselves to blame.

Absolute rubbish.

it was a harsh red card and the only reason he started arguing with the ref because he couldn’t believe that he was getting sent off for something so harsh

Wimbledon, Mansfield, Lincoln, Stevenage and Bradford are in the top half.
We finished above Bradford last season. We’ve beaten Mansfield. Should beaten Stevenage who are tinpot. Drew away at Wimbledon and finished above them last season and lost to an awful Lincoln side.
Cardiff are top with a bunch of kids who couldn’t beat us.

It’s an utterly garbage league full of average teams. And it’s very damning that under Moore we were the worst of the lot.

Why are Stevenage tinpot? I think they are an excellent club punching above their weight and obviously getting a lot of things right. How do you assess them as tinpot?

i actually think the league is decent just not as many big name clubs as some previous seasons they inevitably find their way back to the championship although it looks like Wednesday are heading back down.

Relegated championship  teams Luton and Plymouth aren’t finding it easy and promoted league 2 teams like vale and Doncaster are propping g up the league. Although Wimbledon doing ok, it’s a long season and they only have a 4 point gap between them and the relegation zone.

Tbf it’s nice to hear people moaning about us! Sick to death of this nicey, nicey bull that we have been subjected to. Let’s upset a few more football fairies and have a good crack at staying up!

Just being realistic !!!

Gain 3 points a month would be sufficient, win the 6 pointer a big step.

You are the only person on here who thinks that it was a definite red card which makes your statement look even sillier that you know exactly what the Blackpool player was thinking

Forgot to mention:

What a cracking ball by Shipley for Headley's goal. Quite like him and George. Both can find a pass.

Looked great together when the switched the formation at half time.

i absolutely loved George Byers given the Blackpool loads of shiiit every time they fouled one of our players. Particularly in the second half
