I would play McDermott, i think you can recall loan players to play in this competition. He isn't getting any game time at Rochdale.

Quick question - I'm planning on going tomorrow night but can't get to our ticket office to collect. Think I've read somewhere before that uncollected tickets get taken to the match and can be collected from their (Wrexham's) ticket office. Is that right?

Think I've seen on Vales twitter that that won't happen for this game.

Defensively no idea. Smudge may as well play but most of the youths we’ve seen are forwards or midfielders so not sure what we can do elsewhere.

That's because human beings are hypocrites, hopefully it's only amongst the 1,000 people that went to watch us against Newcastle.

And hopefully the fans that go aren't disappointed when they realise it's a full youth team we play

It's because people will have either not been Wrexham's ground before or not been for about 20 years. I'm only going because I know when we play them next season in the league then we will sell out in about 2 hours so loads won't get a ticket. So I'm just ticking the ground off my list of ones I need do.

He is back. He was training for the Mansfield game.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but for anyone travelling on official coach, I have just noticed an e-mail from the Vale, not seen on the official site however.  I think with how traffic can be getting out of the city at this time, it is pushing it fine.  I presume the fault of Wrexham but not very good getting this the day before.

I would just like to take this time to inform you of our slight change of departure time for out match against Wrexham tomorrow, due to us awaiting confirmation from Staffordshire police to see if we would require a police escort to and from the ground, our official coaches will be arriving from 5pm with a 5:30 sharp departure time from Car Park B,

We need to give the young players a chance, protect the senior squad but not lose 10-0. By way of success we are competing in too many competitions to be sustainable. There is a risk of failing ultimately in everything. We must prioritise realistically. L1 survival is top of the pile and our recent daft (in my opinion) losses at home have brought us under pressure from the foot.

Not bothered who plays in this, but I'll be gutted if any of the regular defence (bar Smudge as he's suspended for Saturday) play and get injured. We're down to bare bones as it is, I'd bring in the entire youth team back 5 if we could and see who steps up. Who was the youth we had on the bench on Saturday?

Apparently Wrexham fans reckon they are starting a few kids and a couple of unregistered squad players so could be a proper youth v youth clash this!
