Billy Bell`s dream playing in the Bristol Street Motors Cup.  Prize money and whether we play at home or away in the KO round at stake. Chance of a new face or 2 on the pitch as well as a few on the bench.

Think we’ll be very well beaten here as they have a fairly strong squad and will be a huge backing there from their fans so a big test for our young lads.

Not sure what we do defensively, only really have Smith and Cass and could you risk Cass with Saturday in mind?

Don't want any 'KEY PLAYERS' anywhere near this game.

Play a load of kids, chuck Conlon in, may be give Loft/Uche some game time.

If we can't put out a full eleven with kids etc. do a 'raffle' with the fanbase. Draw lots for CB or WB etc, if any fans fancy it??

The only one who started yesterday that should be in the team is Smith and that’s only because he’s suspended next Saturday. Treat it as the glorified friendly it is and play the likes of Shorrock and Walters. Give Loft 60 minutes as well, looks like he needs all the minutes he can get. Could maybe experiment with Conlon on the left just see how it looks with little riding on it.

Based on what AC said after the match yesterday, I can't see anything than a loss here, maybe even on the heavy side.

He pretty much said we'll play a youth side and 'utilize the young lads on the bench today'. So I have absolutely no hope of us getting anything from this.

We’ve largely done that throughout the group stage though in fairness but Wrexham seem more into this than most.

They had 8000 against Newcastle U21 the other week so be a good experience for our lads in a bigger crowd than usual.

Defensively no idea. Smudge may as well play but most of the youths we’ve seen are forwards or midfielders so not sure what we can do elsewhere.

Could Shorrock play LCB maybe?

Exactly. They have the Hollywood effect going in every match! They never know when Reynolds is there.

And given our "performance" against Newcastle U21, I'm not exactly hopefull for this one. As you say, Smith might as well play, Conlon will surely feature as well as will Loft, to get him up to speed. Maybe Thomas will go on one side of him? And I'm sure Shorrock will play as well.

Would never bet against the Vale but surely a reserve and youth team has to be played here, take any fine that comes the way, 7/5 for Wrexham to win on Sky Bet, can't believe they such big odds.

Cass needs to be nowhere near this. Currently our only fit centre half and you want to play him in a glorified friendly? We need to either give the young lad on the bench from Saturday  a chance, play Shorrock as centre half, change to 4 at the back or even all three.

I’d also throw many of the youngsters in myself, if we lose heavily so be it, does it really matter if we are away in the next round?

I’d imagine only Smith, Massey, Conlon, Thomas, Loft & the backup keeper would be considered from the senior players and then add the likes of Walters, Shorrock, Dipepa etc

I've read some crap from Vale fans  this afternoon because us or Burton got Stevenage lets lose lets not ,two teams in our league standing in way of glamour third round tie .

Lets attempt to win every game especially v Wrexham.
