Lincoln is £24 & £10 for kids - so £25 & £15 not bad for a qtr final match

Exactly and Lincoln’s ground is really awful in the away end. Portaloo paradise and a low level view with rubbish legroom. Peterborough United want £29 this year for their wooden away end.

£25 for a league cup quarter final is bargain territory. Our prices are generally average, certainly not cheap but not expensive either. Although Arsenal did charge only £10 for the lower tier of all league cup games including the semi final, but then with the TV money and league ticket prices at over £100 for some games, they can afford charity.

I do think when the £20 barrier was broken lower league football started to feel more expensive, especially buying multiple tickets.

I don’t really think any true fans will mind £25, especially as I go to away games and see people spending loads of cash at other clubs on booze, hotdogs, programmes etc.

Don't Premier League Clubs have a £20 cap for away fans? Makes it nuts that you'd pay £9 more to watch Peterborough on a wooden bench compared to sitting at the Tottenham Stadium!

The cap is actually £30 but some clubs offer a £10 reimbursement from Virgin Media and Football Supporters Federation so it is only £20 if you claim it back. Of course, many premier league clubs like Arsenal only have away fans who have season tickets given the demand and we all know how much they are there…

‘Season ticket holders will be able to purchase their tickets and any additional tickets from Tuesday 14thNovember 2023, general sale will commence on Tuesday 21st November 2023 but season ticket seats will remain reserved until Tuesday 5th December.

14th November – Season Ticket Holders (Who can purchase additional for friends and family)

21st November – General Sale (With Season Tickets reserved)

5th December – Season Tickets Released to General Sale’

This says ST holders can buy additional tickets for friends and family.  Is there a limit on how many I can buy?

Also does that mean you can buy extra tickets for the paddock with your season tickets for this game? because you cant for league games

That is how capitalism works from a business perspective yes, but in many examples your analogy doesn't fit the reality of people who do struggle. If  a person can't afford a loaf of bread or food then as a desperate measure they would  have to borrow the money to get that food.

A football club is there for the community. It used to be, for example, that unemployed people used to attend on reduced rates, and football was accessible to all, instead many football clubs have unwittingly priced many people out of attending.

Whilst a football club has to be ran sensibly financially the people running it should remember that a club is a stone of the community and not a business. That is the principle that I would use.

I really do feel that the current Vale owners have priced out many fans who wish to attend. A 9% increase in pay on the day admission prices in two years is a large increase.

Wow. The season tickets are a gift and as far as I know you can pay by instalments.

What more do you expect from a club owner who undoubtedly saved us from oblivion, has pumped in millions and has given us a massively improved profile - all whilst trying to keep us competitive in our higher status?

Unbelievable to be honest.
