If you just wanted a ticket, maybe you should have asked your mate who is a season ticket holder to get you one instead of drawing attention to the situation and using it to diss the club.

that's the point, why should anyone who's ( just friends ) with a season ticket holder have priority over members who were told they have priorities when signing up or general fans who can't attend as many games but still support the club. Defeats the object of the whole 1876 membership i signed upto. The way it's been handled is wrong & should rightly be called out for it don't you think???

if you can't see how they're selling the tickets is wrong your obviously a season ticket holder who only thinks of himself. Sure there's only you & one other person i've seen on this topic who think it's alright what they're doing, everyone else can see it's unfair & totally wrong

So it's ok to have a policy which prioritises one off spectators who probably wont turn up for another 30 years for a fan who has paid into the club pot with a guarantee of a ticket for cup games. What if he doesn't get a ticket? What then??

He is giving the club a chance to address the issue. Not exactly dissing the club

Who is saying season ticket holders shouldn't have priority?

Season ticket holders having priority to buy one ticket per season ticket is quite different from season ticket holders being able to book tickets for all their mates, while those who've paid money to join a membership scheme promising priority don't have access to tickets.

If the club aren't going to honour the advertised benefits of their membership scheme for the biggest match of the season, they should refund every member who signed up to it.

It hardly needs much evaluation of best practice. It just needs the club to honour the commitments they made when taking the money of supporters signing up to the membership scheme on the basis it would get them priority access to tickets. 

Pretty simple really - season ticket holders, 1876 members, general sale, in that order.

Not season ticket holders and season ticket holders' mates, then general sale, with no priority for people who joined the membership scheme on the promise of priority access to tickets.

i shouldn't have to find a bloody mate & ask or rely on them!!! that's my point ffs 🤦🏼‍♂️ they should of just put members on sale after season tickets like they have every other game since the membership started. It's wrong what they're doing & they should be called out for it! The club is in a much better place than in recent years, i applaud the job the owners have done & so on. This isn't me finding something to moan about for the sake of it

the season ticket holders are getting priority & rightly so 👍🏻 it's the fact they can buy as many as they please i don't agree with & on top of that no mention whatsoever about the members like myself. Who, just so you know has had season tickets in the past. It's not down to even being able to afford a season ticket why i don't it's because i can't attend as often as i used to
