DC would of cleared out the dead wood in the summer and reset.

And if we do go down, what manager better than DC could possibly have more of a chance of getting us promoted.

I made no secret of the fact that I didn't want Clarke as a manager.  I am relieved he has gone even if it is about a year too late. I was worried about relegation but I think we will survive now. That is what I care about, Port Vale.

Overall right now, the right call in my view. Clarke was never going to turn it round, lacked little to inspire the players, seems depressed which I fully understand and I don’t think he has the fight in him to pull the club back out of the slump. 

New guy gets a pre season and maybe a couple of games to assess the squad.

Well, having retired from social media until next season, Im un-retiring myself for a bit 🤪

Cant believe this - all I can say is the best of luck to our Darrell in all his future endevours - we will never know what has gone on since the beginning of the year, but lets all get behind AC until the end of the season.

Darrell Clarkes Black n White army no more - he will always be a legend in my eyes.
