I only live just over an hour away from Ipswich and have never been to Portman Road so was going to go.  Now thinking should I give a tenner to the Vale via iFollow instead - every little helps.

That’s it then.  I only needed the slightest bit of encouragement, always the same when it comes to the Vale, will do both 🙂 (leave the family at home to watch online).

Now then, the 7+ hour round trip to Accrington on a Good Friday 🤔

Must be mad...I've bought 2 tickets. My son picked this game out at the start of the season and the last time(and only time) I went to Portman Road was a second leg defeat in the League Cup after Sproey scored a wonder goal in the first leg. A 20 year old Dalian Atkinson destroyed us and it finished 3-0

Looking forward to the visit,as only Vale fans could do!

Me and the missus will be there...live in Suffolk. <edit>hate Ipswich. Fans still living in 1978 season...I hope we don't get battered as work the next day will be awful.

Last time I went there it was Brian Horton's first game in charge after Belly sack Sir John. Dreadful game, lost 1-0. Level of alcohol had some insulating effect though. After, we called in at a Sainsburys for tinnies and carried on the away day supping. On the way back our designated minibus driver said they thought they were lost. Looking at the motorway signs we were 10 miles from Doncaster! Definitely one to forget.
