Anyone thinking of paying that much money and going that far to watch this vale team against one of the best teams in the league should probably booked themselves in for some sort of psychiatric assessment.

To be honest people will go if they can as it's a new ground for some or not one we have been too for 23 years. I don't know why we have requested a 1000 tickets though as that's throwing money away as I can't see anymore than 300 going myself.

We had a young lovers weekend in Ipswich - Travel Lodge, Macdonalds and everything - oh the romance of it all. Then they hammered us 5 - 1 if memory serves - c 1998 ish 🙈🙈🙈🙈

Got to cut their losses and pay their players some how.  Ipswich published their accounts yesterday.

All that and they still might not get promoted from the same league we are in.

Shows the huge gulf in spending, add on to their wages they signed Davis, Broadhead and another lad for over £3 Million.

I only live just over an hour away from Ipswich and have never been to Portman Road so was going to go.  Now thinking should I give a tenner to the Vale via iFollow instead - every little helps.
