Anyone thinking of paying that much money and going that far to watch this vale team against one of the best teams in the league should probably booked themselves in for some sort of psychiatric assessment.

Hats off to them.

I’ll book myself in

Only football match Mrs Hoppers has ever been -

We had a young lovers weekend in Ipswich - Travel Lodge, Macdonalds and everything - oh the romance of it all. Then they hammered us 5 - 1 if memory serves - c 1998 ish 🙈🙈🙈🙈

But hey, we are still together

I am going because it is a fantastic ground conveniently situated in the middle of the red light district.

You see, this is my kind of strategic planning - two birds (hur hur👅) with one (Aiden) stone - NICE 😍😍😍😍

£27 for an adult ticket?! For league one football?? Absolute robbery.

Got to cut their losses and pay their players some how.  Ipswich published their accounts yesterday.

“The accounts also show that the club's losses increased by just over £6m in the reporting period, from £6.3m to £12.6m.

A large part of that is down to an increase in expenditure of just over £9m, including an increase in wages of more than £3m - from £13.37m to £16.43m”

All that and they still might not get promoted from the same league we are in.

Yet we're doing terribly and should be ashamed for not spunking money up the wall in a January transfer window

Shows the huge gulf in spending, add on to their wages they signed Davis, Broadhead and another lad for over £3 Million.
