Do we have goal line technology in the lower divisions? If not, I’m not sure that was over the line at all.

The ref and his assistants both have a buzzer I think which goes off when the ball goes over the line

A steady national league player, that’s just what we need. Crookes has found his level which isn’t at vale. No matter how poor some of the players we have currently are, they are undoubtedly better than some we have let go

We have quite a few players where that is their standard, I mentioned that earlier in the season and got shot down. Half of our squad yesterday would not get in the team at Notts County or Wrexham and a few wouldn’t have got in Oldham’s starting 11.

The goalkeeping situation has been poor for the last two seasons. Cov cost us points Stone tried to loose us the play off final . Goalkeeping has been poor all season both keepers are non league at best. I was concerned after the Wycombe game ! We have just gone very bad to unbelievably shocking.
We are conceding for fun it’s very very concerning can we stop the rot? I hope so ! This season has been so unbelievably frustrating the football on offer has been poor.

Our recruitment team are awful, take away the signings which have worked with DC or been connected with him or other players we already have then you have a team of none league no hopers.

A lot of that sounds familiar, but I think he's earned enough credit to keep with him.

Although I'm not entirely sure he wants to be here anymore. Something just seems off.

Wouldn't surprise me if he walked in the summer.

My heart is saying-it’s a bit early to sack him and possibly give him a chance by pulling out some good transfers in the summer and getting the club back on track but my head is saying, perhaps get rid now, put Crosby in charge until the end of the season because we have a better chance of staying up or the hope he does walk and saves Carol a big payout. Come May, Clarke will only have had one full season managing the Vale and I will say again, to those that think staying up is a success, it has been very underwhelming this season and we have certainly gone backwards from the end of last season.

Difference is, most of the fans there probably spend upwards of a grand a year including travel to go to games. These clowns are getting payed good money, probably double at least what half of us earn, and they’re putting performances like that? And then they’re laughing about it? Robinson was <ovf censored> today, and his attitude stinks. He’s the one that can <ovf censored> off, hopefully into non league where he belongs.

Agreed.

Wrexham and Notts County have a lot more money than us though, Wrexham especially have a Championship budget!

But not for long. The financial rules don't apply in the National League allowing Wrexham in particular to run way above actual financial viability. But reach L2 and they will be drawn back to earth.

Your about as botheread as the players if u let that excuse stop u going

But if u do stop going and I hope u don’t least we won’t have to read your posts 😂

Two things….

1) feel free to ignore my posts (you don’t, yet comment virtually every time) and

2) I never said I wouldn’t go. Midweek games are tricky anyway and factoring holidays I’ll probably only attend 15 out of the 23 games anyway, so having a S/T doesn’t have the same benefit. Unlike for my Dad, who has decided not to bother due to being messed around over Sheff Wed transport and them not holiday his chosen Hamil seat.

I would imagine they will still easily be the richest team in league 2, as someone else has mentioned, they sell out every game and sell loads of merchandise

The ref had an issue with his arm buzzer at the start of the game, not saying it wasn't fixed or ball had not gone over the line....just saying, I wonder if they 'winged it' Liner won't have a buzzer.

Wrexham signed Ben Foster (playing in the Prem last year for £30k a week) a couple of weeks ago until the end of season.

Wrexham are getting around 10k a game and that’s before the new stand has been completed. They also sell incredible amounts of merch across the world. Having said that their defence is crap especially without Rob Lainton in goal

No, apart from the play off final 😁

Look at the shadow of the ball on the pitch, if it isn’t 100% over the line, it’s as near as damn it.

Looking at the shadows of the players they do not appear parallel to the goal line, therefore depending on the height of the ball it could be argued purely from that picture that the ball might not be over the line

Whether or not the ball was over the line, the goal was given - one thing is for sure though, the other TWO goals we conceded definitely were over the line.
