The ticket situation yesterday….

Firstly I spent Monday morning trying to get 2 tickets on the deal but it wouldn’t work so I ring the ticket office.

When I rung the phone line it said I was 4th in the queue blah blah waited for about 2 mins then automated message told me to leave a voicemail. I requested a callback.

I rung back again 2 hours later after no call back, got excited when the phone line said I was 1st in the queue then it went directly to to the voicemail for me to leave another message!! I was <ovf censored> 1st in the queue!!!

In the end my daughter managed to get to the ticket office 16;59 just before the 5pm deadline to get tickets. All tickets by this point had been sold for the Lorne Street so had to sit on her own elsewhere.

No word of a lie there were 8 other people spread out across the whole row in the block!!!!

What an absolute shambles of an offer.

Oh and I’m still waiting for my callback.

How on earth are they going to grow the fan base?  Couldn’t cope with small crowd last night.

I hate to say it but I had a somewhat similar experience. Booking tickets on the website is a frustrating experience of frequent failure as well.

The "Bring a Mate" was a good idea but on a bad night to try it (midweek, midwinter).

It seemed to have had very little take-up. They should have said 2000 free tickets for the Bycars were available on a first come first served basis rather than the faff of needing to know a season ticket holder who could get you one.

Hope they learn from it as it didn't seem to be very widely publicized.

Always been the same, absolutely pointless running deals because the club doesn’t have a scoobie how to deliver them. With me living away from Stoke I went quite a few games in the home end when Vale were away last season as I had no hope of getting hold of our ticket office. Puts people off attending, reducing crowds, supporters and revenue.

What really hacks me off with the ticket office when the phone isn't answered is that the voicemail tells you that "your call is important to the club" and to "hold the line and your call will be answered as soon as an operative is available". So when I rang on Monday and my call wasn't answered I was invited to leave a message so that I could be called back. No return call came so I rang again on Tuesday and same thing happened. Here we are on Thursday and still no contact from the club. It seems that my call is so important to the club that they can't be bothered to return my call within 72 hours. This is no way to run a business. It's appalling customer service and something that the owners need to get a grip of.

They are stopping encouraging fans of all ages with recent performances. Stopping these tickets from going on sale is an act of mercy!

Really! one bad run in 2 years and its putting people off. Fickle is the word that comes to mind.
