Welcome to Gareth`s Wanderers, who are hopeful of a PO place again. Their last away game was a 3-0 defeat of Posh, with home wins over Pompey and Ipswich in December showing they have what it takes. Not that we cannot rise to the occasion when we have our strikers on the pitch. A loan striker or two over the next few days would be most welcome, but as usual it is a waiting game as DC shuffles the pack, hopefully trumps will turn up. Port Vale to win 2-1.

Their stellar man Albanian Mehemdi is off to Bristol City apparently so that’s a boost for the weekend! Scored their first at their place.

Yes, fingers crossed on that one.  They have signed a lad from Wolves.  No idea if he’s a possible replacement though.  Tough fixture either way.  It’d be nice to see another one of our strikers back alongside Proc, even if coming off the bench.

I said on a previous thread,I'd love Politic to have a run of games from the start to see if he can produce.

TBH I'd be happy with a few clean sheets to at least get a point on the board. Maybe a couple of grind-it-out 1-0 wins will do?

Anyway,it's our first Saturday 3pm kick off since November 19th. I'll take any sort of win and based on our performance against Derby,it shows how well we played with a limited starting lineup. I thought they were poor last night and they only took control of our game in the last 20 minutes.

Almost certainly as he seems to be our only fit striker unless Proc is ready for a start.  Would love to them both start together as a front 2 but cant see it myself.
