I'll get accused of being angry or panicking for saying this but I don't think the fact that we're having zoom calls with potential goalkeepers almost a week after allowing the previous one to leave, is something to be proud about.

Not necessarily.

On Blackman though, why do people seem to think that this would be an unreal signing? I've never seen him play personally, that I recall, but in 10 seasons in the game he's played about the equivalent of 2 full seasons at league level? Just interested to learn how people seem to think he's so good? His career seems to have fallen off a cliff since his Sheff Utd loan spell.

BTW I'm not saying that he isn't any good, just intrigued

I do wonder if we'd be in for Brad Halliday, released by Fleetwood today. RWB replacement?

He's shows up on a lot of the stats I'd imagine the matrix would be looking at. Missed last season with an ACL injury.

Agree Phil, looks in the ‘potential not realised’ category.  
 

That said could be a good time to land him.  Good age, looks like 3 seasons as first choice so knows how to cope with the week in / week out grind (Wycombe, Sheffield United, Rotherham) but largely second choice whilst out on loan so plenty to prove.

He's had 2 or 3 decent loan spells then another 2 or 3 where he's largely got splinters in his bum off the bench by the looks of it. I guess that's can be the life of a keeper when you're not necessarily first choice? I don't disagree with the point you're making tbh but I remember reading he was well thought of by Wycombe after that loan spell. Chelsea also must have thought he had something to keep a youth/reserve keeper until he was 26. (I was surprised he was 28 when I looked him up) 

He's then clearly listened to his agent and made a move to the MLS(the same team Bale has gone too I believe) for a bit of coin who knows? Difficult position to nail down a place as a goalie as when you think there is only 1 who can play compared to 3 or 4 defenders/midfielders/strikers.

They seem to have a fair few strikers now. Not sure Harratt will be starting many games for them.
