I always try and stay positive, but my patience has failed me this morning. Our recruitment team 'apparently' work 2 to 3 windows in advance. Yet the players we sign all talk about suprise and how quick the move goes through. We sign a last minute CB to replace the lad from Liverpool we returned as there were issues. (What happens to the due diligence on player Flitcoft talks about?) We sign a quality winger, but don't play wingers (please god don't play him LWB like the other wingers constantly shoehorned in that position) We needed a LWB, the formation we are wedded to relies on them. We've only got Grant with his injury issues. We needed a striker before Uche got injured, we are desperate for one now and are completely dead in the water if/when Willo gets injured. Don't forget Uche was off to Charlton, so replacements should have been identified and lined up. Which is what Flitcroft would have us believe. Flitcroft (in his full-time position) has repeatedly failed to deliver when needed to the most. He has to now be held accountable for his failing. If we get relegated, the blame lies firmly at his door.
