Not disagreeing with you. Infact I completely agree. However there were many on here and basically every single numpty on that wonder of vale page slating the chairman for the budget

 

And they were right in doing so. Budget should have been bigger. Club had the income to enable it. He preferred his electric car and European getaways.

 

Budget this year will be as large as it can be. No room for criticism, unless the club starts making money which isn't reinvested.

I have agreed three times that I don’t think he will be very good and would prefer him not to sign... and yet good old Ernie demands I not try and claim he will be a roaring success.

 

Even people that don’t want Lloyd need to be reminded with a bloody good rant that Ernie doesn’t think he is good enough!!

I remember you saying if we finished below Crewe you'd jump into the canal eating a cow heel. Admittedly that was a long time ago but I don't remember any time limit.........

Whoever we sign lets hope they justify there wages they will be paid .

Its no good buying players for the sake of it you need to attract very good players but not pay them over the odds .

Like a lot of clubs do or giving them a huge contract and they sit on and do little justify it .

So i suggest a pay as your performance on that day deserves .

So after the game you get say fourty fans out of the stadium who have attended and they rate your overall performance .

So a 4/5 is no bonus on basic wage .

A 6/7 a 5 per cent bonus etc etc .

A 8/9 obviously the fans are delighted with your overall application and you get more .

A under 4 then you get half your wages

A lack of discipline (sent off you get no wage for that game .

I know its bizarre but i think it would work .

Everyone wants the best wages so earn them .

In theory not an awful idea. But it's extremely subjective and offers no stability to players. Unless every club in the world did a similar package, then the players would just go where they were most likely to get the most money. At the end of the day, it's their job and people want to get paid the most for what they're doing.

 

You're forgetting that most clubs have bonus schemes already (Clean sheets, assists, goals). That's on top of a season-performance bonus package clubs operate.

Striker from Crewe that I’ve heard we are looking at signing. Always impressed me when I’ve seen him play. Hopefully another Anthony Grant signing that will do well for us.

Under contract till 2021 and has just scored 11 goals in the league at the age of 21. Will command a hefty fee and will be looking at clubs in far better positions than us.
