That’s my understanding of admin. Also as the major creditor he will have to accept a deal to take over the debt. Usually in these cases debts are bought for less than their value but could Norman refuse to settle debts, even if offered to be paid for in full? That way he could persue liquidation as preferred option. He would loose all his money ‘owed’ but who knows what that actually is and what he can prove. Plus he looses the potential absurd ground rent he charges the club if he becomes just landlord.

If he is the main creditor the big issue is the CVA. If he rejects the deal then it’s a big problem, further sanctions including big point deductions then can hit.

To be honest I have thought this for a while. I know it would be costly (maybe to costly) to build a new stadium but it may actually be a decent out come. If viable. Buy the football club, new stadium and stick smurf with the fast deteriating vale park.

It raises interesting questions about the value of the club without a ground..... a sort of leasehold club.

About 50 quid should do it.... spend the rest facilitating a new ground and build it up from scratch.

he isn't worth much , I first thought at the time good on him for serving pies in the away end kind of mucking in, then you find out its going in his pocket and that's why he was doing it, now if you were a multi millionaire would you be bothered doing that for a few hundred quid at the most,,,like Richard branson covering for an air steward to make sure they maximises the pounds on a short haul flight.

 

My belief and opinion is that the original group bought the club then he has paid em off with vales money to become sole owner, then added to his directors loan.. no way is he that rich but wants to hold onto his cash cow 1 to save face and 2 probably a lot to cover up whilst still milking some more.

 

the only other scenario is he is a front man for someone else so all the money raped from the club isn't his just a slice so he wants to hold on as long as possible to achieve a certain amount for himself whilst passing on the rest to the hidden financier..

But I thought no one was purchasing a season ticket whilst he was there? If you are talking about this season, then there is only a few home games left so imo that's no hardship.
