Just to lay the potential buyers and investors theory to rest. I have first hand knowledge of significant sponsorship lost due to Smurthwaite's attitude toward them. I also found him very rude and condescending when I was match sponsor - ignorant and rude to be frank. I think there is a substantial part of the fanbase who are either not informed or mis-informed. Problem is with an ageing fan base social media may not be the only way or best of communication. We need to leaflet at the turnstiles and employ other forms of communication to reach all.

If Mr Smurthwaite withdraws financial support we may we go into administration BUT an administrator will have to be appointed to sell it as a going concern before we are liquidated. Our owner will then forfeit all loans and a new owner can get the club at a very much reduced price. This is what happened when he purchased the club. We know this won’t happen idle threats unless he wants all his money he put into the club lost.

 

Surely Synetics would then buy it for considerably less than £5m. How does that win for Smurf ?
