8 points clear with 8 games to go. Could have done with Macc dropping points today, though. Would’ve given us a nicer cushion.

 

I do think that we have enough in us to get over the line again. I just cannot believe that for the second season in a row we are in this position. We only need 7 points to eclipse last seasons total.

A game totally ruined by the wind. Maybe each side had one decent chance, but other than that it’s hard to play in that weather. Can’t fault anyone too much because of the conditions, although it looked they targeted crooks as our weakness and he had a tough second half I thought.

Norman will be in heaven.

The last 4 results have taken the pressure off him and he won’t have to give a discount to sell the club if we aren’t relegated.He has pocketed 2 million and spent sfa.

He will be able to show his face at home matches and enjoy the hospitality without people waving red cards at him.Keep the pressure on the greedy bar steward until he sells for a reasonable price or the end of the season let’s him off the hook.

He will be able to spend the Hugill money in his piggy bank to go on his happy holidays in Portugal.

He can also continue his bird watching on Hamil Road and Alsager.

Good point away in difficult conditions on a ground where we rarely prosper. Tough run in for us, so every point counts. Well done Arthur and the lads.

Another 10 points (may need fewer)and I can’t see us going down. Good point today but it’s vital we keep chipping away with some tough looking fixtures coming up. Three points v Forest Green and the nerves settle a little more.

Not a fan myself of his commentary skills, but his negativity is warranted today.

 

********...he's supposed to be commentating on the football he is watching. It was not of a high standard ...FROM BOTH TEAMS. I just find him very, very negative about the Vale. Listen to Sproey and Adam Yates.....criticise but balanced....just my opinion mind you.
