The Stoke incident has given old Smurf a ready made excuse to say there is no money as it all went on repairs.

 

Just wait and see...

 

Norman lost that excuse when he split the club from the ground. Any repair bills are down to him and are nothing to do with Port Vale Football Club.

Mellor, Whether the repair bills are paid by the owner of the club or the owner of the ground means they will come out of the same pot, so less money for players etc for PVFC.

 

IMHO the repair bill should land at the door of Stoke City FC and the fact that they haven't already made it clear they will pay says everything.

 

I also ask where are the senior guys who run the Football League, no doubt earning high salaries, in this, perhaps in a few years we may get a response.

I fancy us to sign a couple of non-league players with contracts expiring, similar to us signing Hannant last year.

 

As I've mentioned before, a couple of good wingers would be high on my list.

 

I can see Clark leaving in January too so another left back might be needed.

 

Clark is on a season long loan, so why do people keep saying he’s going back in January?

Villa have a recall clause in January. With how he's been playing the thinking is that teams in a higher division will want him so Villa may recall and loan him out again to one of those
