If they didn't come up this year, they'd just keep spending until they did.

Another plastic, bankrolled, tinpot club in the league then. Urgh.

Will look forward to them bringing 100 fans to VP and beating us.

Nowt like being positive....:banghead:

Think they can continue to bankroll by putting funds in as additional share capital rather than directors loans?

The five ex MU players own 10% each with the other 50% owned by Paul Lim.

The league should insist the ground is improved to a reasonable level before they are allowed to join the league.

Mr Blobby supposedly put 3.5 million into the Vale as Directors loans so shouldn’t stop Salford having money put in in.

That's poor for the National League.I remember an attendance of around 9,000 for a FA Vase final at Wembley a few years ago but that must be a record low for the 5th tier of Englirsh football.

I went to see the Vase Final three years in a row with Whitley Bay. They took at least 8,000 on their own for each of those - and that was a 9th tier club 300 miles away!!

It’s now 40% Lim, with 10% each Neville’s x 2, Butt, Giggs, Scholes and the recently added Beckham, who didn’t want to make miss out on the glory.

Ironically their shirt sponsor is Super Six, is this a not so subliminal reference to the Class of 92 Directors?

8049 according to the BBC

Didn't we have a crowd of about ten thousand for the Anglo Italian final? No away support but Fylde sure didn't have many there today. Iv'e a feeling that was , or still is, a record Wembley low for a first class match. Sure we all wanted Wrexham to come up, but they were not good enough. It was SC or Fylde, who have about half the support of Salford! They also have had substantial cash put in to them. Whiff of hypocrisy here, sure we would have loved someone to take us over and inject millions - like Stoke did - only difference is SC are not an old established club. Or maybe it's the old MUFC hatred again?

I suppose you've got to call it progress with four promotions in five years and an increase in supporters from 158 to a few thousand.

As Andy Holt said "At least the players will get paid"?
