I know some will want Whitfield starting but we need someone on the bench who can come on and make an impact.

But not attacking and supposedly being difficult to beat has seen us lose all three away games so why not attack?

I don't think even now I've truly accepted what happened two summers ago and the sheer stupidity of that total bell-end of a chairman.

We may be aghast at worrying about FGR but we shouldn't be disrespectful. It's the same as Man City looking down their noses at us when we were in the same league and beat them fair & square on merit. Just think where we could be if we had a chairman like FGR, possibly in the Championship with the grumps on here groaning about not being able to buy Wright's Pies or Bovril at half time. Be better than having to pit up with 'Normous Gut Norm though!

Miller can come on at 60 minutes again if we need a goal. Manny or Conlon to come on for Hardcastle when were three up to shore up the defence.

It's been like watching Dysentry Ward 10 for us for a few years now which Aspo's aware of and is trying to cure, trouble is he hasn't sorted the balance yet and our lack of attack in some games has resulted in constant pressure on defending and rarely do even the best defences withstand constant pressure. I still have faith he'll sort it though, there were some real positive signs against Newport even if there was a tirade of moaning and groaning on here after the game.

Lack of pace in the midfield has been the problem, Hardcastle and Clark`s runs are changing things, with Oyeleke and Conlon nearing fitness things should improve.

Why does everyone think that we should hold out for an hour and sneak a win? Let’s grow some balls and throw our shoulders back. Why do we worry about the oppositions line up, tactics and place in the league. Aspin doesn’t want to lose!!! Are you having a laugh. The guy is so negative away from home we will never win. Every team that comes to vale park sees it as there cup final. They come out attacking from-the off and scare us to bits and if they score we are done for. Can anybody answer the question of when we went a goal behind and went on to win? We really need to start being arrogant and Bertie big balls against teams that shouldn’t be in the league. We are port vale, come on for fs.
