Miller did more in the first 10 minutes than Dodds in 60 mins.

I never said a big budget guarantees success but it does give an indication of the determination of the owner to achieve it.

I can’t believe it has come to the point where supporters are expecting a defeat against FGR. That is no disrespect to them at all but this shows how much Vale how sunk in a number of years under the guidance of Smurf.

Aspin can’t go into this game for a draw like every other game. It is too negative every game, something has to change. As much as I want Aspin to succeed, things have to change or we are going to be in trouble again for a 3rd season in a row. It really is depressing being a Vale fan currently.

As far as team selection is concerned, we have to start two up front. My team would be.

Hannant has to fill in on the right for me, Worrall has been so poor all season for me.

Can’t see a win in this one. We fall to another 2-0 defeat and the same old, same old is said after the game. I am one of those who expects a defeat unfortunately. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think I am.

I do read your posts and you did ask me to justify why I thought Kanu was good enough to get into the team and had no experience despite playing 18 games for Peterborough last year and 29 games for Aldershot in the conference.

Think our 11 is very strong have pace on the bench with Kanu so we have different options. It may be difficult to get them in the same side but I’d like to see miller and Whitfield starting Saturday

so far 9 appearances I think and 0 goals and 0 assists, 1 yellow card.......our centre backs have a better record.

 

There are players offering more in the team now with Whitfield and Miller so I doubt we will see much more of him.

You know what Pete i think thats a fair point. Im far from impressed with result recently but the performances have started to improve. Tranmere wasnt amazing but they were by no means better than us, Newport was one of those days and we were the better side for 60% of the match. We have a far far better team than last year and I needs a bit of time for Aspin and the lads to gel, workout the best system to suit the players and results will come. For me whilst frustrating the glass is half full not half empty. I think a lot of fans are stuck in the rut from recent events and need to step back and look at where we are now compared to last year and see that we have potential to have a decent season. Last year we were worse than most sides we played, this year barring Lincoln I havent seen a team better than us ability wise, just team better organised. Last year ability lacked and we were organised.
