Gibbons hasn't been at his best but he's a young talent from our academy who has shown exactly how good he is. Dips of form are to be expected. If we played him at RB and Clarke at LB less of this faffing about would occur.

 

Sorry to be a negative nancy I'm just annoyed that a homegrown talent (we don't produce many) is being shafted for being one of a number of below-par players.

I wouldnt have said he was below par defensively this season. Just that for most of the season our full backs have struggled to make a forward impact.
