I'm genuinely surprised this is a sell out tomorrow. I really can't see what the point is?

Smurf will just say usual shot from the hip blah blah blah and by now you would be an idiot to even believe anything he says anyway.

The only time I will believe him and return to Vale Park(regardless of division) will be after a press conference by new owners saying the club has been sold and Smurf confirms this with an official statement.

This is a set up.

Norman will use Radio Joke to publicise how badly treated he is by the fans and give him the excuse to stay but not invest more money into the club.

I can agree with this.......Blakeman will be in his element:angry:

I hope this goes well for everyone tomorrow night including Smurf. If we survive this season, which will be clearer after Easter, we know a few things. If we have the same players, the outcome next season will be similar on the pitch. If we change the players but have the same recruiting we will also get the same outcome of struggling. We know fans have had enough. Personally, for example, I travel from the Wirral every game but otherwise I am using my car very little. I live in Met area with excellent public transport and qualify for my bus pass in December. Car lease expires in December. So I know I am not coming next season without major improvement.

To me Smurf has to prove he will lead the club to relative success or leave asap selling to new owners who have desire, ambition and the means. Otherwise the support base will crumble and the club is doomed anyway.

I have seen some appalling football this season, about the worst in the 41 years since I first watched Port Vale.

I think NS will announce big plans to build a pub at the ground and he’ll hide behind staff members who may be present. He’s doing P&G on Friday night so obviously thinks his ‘plan and vision’ will appease the fans. He’s going nowhere.

Planning permission submitted????

Doesn't look like it! I can't see the point of a new pub anyway. There are plenty of pubs going out of business every week without any specific branding to a local football club which will result in a fairly small demograph of customer. Can't see any St*ke fans going in there for a start.
