My question to the blue one would be ....what made you self-combust at Exeter in the cup.

It was a decent League 2 side against a mid-table League one side, so in the grand scheme of things not the biggest cup shock of all time.

Yes the performance was poor, and bear in mind he wasn't to know they would draw Liverpool. But his reaction was so bizarre.

Dear Norman....what actually made you lose the plot so badly that day ? And from that day onwards things have really really taken a turn for the worse.

My thinking currently '1810 does not include what happened back then at Exeter. I'm more concerned where we go from this point in time. That's my focus and maybe, just maybe we can help Norm make it his focus too.

Yes i agree Aussie, we do need to move forward. I guarantee 90% of questions will be about the past though, Synetics, Bruno, Brown, Grant/Alnwick.

He has to be asked some serious questions not just gloss over stuff.

Smurf can just come out and say the Hugill money will be re-invested in the playing budget and people will believe him.

I don't want to harp on about the past either but instances like that and the bizarre Radio Stoke claims when Bruno was appointed suggest this is one seriously unhinged individual.

Would willingly sacrifice the Hugill money if he would walk now.

We all want to see some vision for the future. But glossing over past events is incredibly unhelpful; surely they have to inform our opinions in the present. As for 'Norm' and his focus, it was, is and will always be Norm. Until there is collective recognition of this, PVFC will continue to ride the express lift to non-league and, eventually, non existence.

One thing I found out at the weekend is that if the Hugill fee is being paid in instalments then it shouldn't affect him selling the club now if he wants to.

The Football League would allow him to put a charge over future transfer revenue where, such as in this case, it's a known. They have already allowed that with another takeover which has taken place this season.

With regard to that , i know i'm off topic. But in the day of the greedy cash rich premier league clubs i find it incredulous that West Ham have not paid the 9 million in one go . We should of insisted on the money up front, unless it was a clause in the sell on clause !

Neil Aspin said today that we need goals in the side , and that must be a priority when rebuilding in the summer. That goes without saying, but has Smurthwaite already had a chat with him , promising him the sun , moon and stars etc in the summer? He’s probably not going anywhere, and we’re in for an evening of false promises . If he stays we’re ******. No two ways about it.
